Yesterday I spent the afternoon on South Padre Island. The weather was nice and the sand was not blowing. It rained the night before, so it was easy to walk on the beach. I was surprised by how much debris has washed up on shore. Much of the debris is a result of the huricanes that recently hit the gulf coast.
